Would you like to spend a whole day creating?
As well as my 2 hour classes, I also run full day painting classes, which give you plenty of time to really get stuck into creating and trying out lots of different things at a very relaxed pace.
We start the morning in a similar way to my 2 hour classes, getting familiar with acrylic paint and what it can do by painting with our hands and then brushes. And then I will introduce lots of different ways to print and apply paint to the paper, encouraging you to explore and discover the different effects you can make with paint. You will be amazed at what you can do with some very simple and accessible materials.
Throughout the day there will be a range of different warm up and energising exercises (particularly useful after lunch), to help loosen you up and experiment with the materials.
At the end of the class you will have learned a lot about working with acrylic and what it can do as a medium, and have lots of ideas about how you can continue to make your own art at home. You can expect to come away with at least 10 paintings from the day, and will feel relaxed and inspired, and confident about making your own artwork.
Each class has a maximum of 6 students, ensuring you have lots of personal attention in a small group environment.
Cost: £65 per person* which includes all your materials, morning and afternoon refreshments and homemade cake.
*Current offer – book at the same time as a friend, and you both receive £10 off your booking (please email me if you would like to book with a friend).
All you need to bring are some clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on, your curiosity and a packed lunch.
