I run art sessions that you can come along to with your family. Why not come and spend an hour painting some lovely big, colourful artwork finished off with sprinklings of glitter and wiggly eyes with your children in my art studio? You can listen to music, have a cup of tea, and perhaps most importantly, you don’t have to clear up afterwards!
These sessions make great Christmas, birthday or Fathers / Mothers day gifts.
How it works: The idea of these sessions is that you paint some pieces of art together with your children – so you all work on the same piece at the same time. A great way to connect with your children, to see them in action and to be lead by their creative ideas.
What is included: All art materials (paint and some large A2 or A1 paper), tea, coffee and squash, overalls to protect your clothing. There is also the option to paint on large A1 canvases.
Prices: £15 per person (minimum booking of 2 people) – and if you would like to paint on canvas these cost £15 each.
Availability: I can run art sessions on Saturdays, and during the school holidays on Thursdays and Fridays.
Age: 3+ and children must be accompanied by an adult
Venue: My home studio in Headington, Oxford
How to book: Please email me if you would like to book an art session. I ask for a £30 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space for each class, and full payment is due before the session starts.
What people have to say about my family art sessions …..
“Loved today’s art session with my 8 year old. It was so nice to share some focused time doing something we both really enjoyed. Will definitely be back!” Sarah Wyatt
“The family art session was great fun. We went as a family and came home with three completed pieces of art. Plenty of paint, glitter, sparkles and glue to keep everyone entertained.” Gill Morris
“My two sons and I had a great time at Jane’s family art session. Jane encouraged us to explore different ways of using the paint and the boys enjoyed sticking on the glitter and wobbly eyes at the end! Jane was very welcoming and the boys have already asked if they can go back!” Liz Crabbe
“My son has come home so inspired he went straight to the cupboard and got the paints out. He’s currently producing another masterpiece”. Claire Lake
