Would you like to experience a fun, relaxing and mindful way of making art?
Not your typical art classes – my classes are all about being curious, exploring what art materials can do, experimenting, and having a play.
My art classes are for you if you….
- Are a complete beginner and haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school
- Would love to have a go at being creative but don’t know where to start
- Would like to try a really different and free way of making art
- Would like to kick start your creativity
- Would like to have some creative fun for a few hours!
The way I teach art is very similar to mindfulness – helping you to really be in the moment while making art. You can work as big as you like, as bold as you like, and make as much mess as you like – there is no right or wrong. Making art in this way is great for your general wellbeing, for relaxing and for escaping from all the things that need doing for a few hours.
How you will feel after one of my classes
If you are a complete beginner you will come away from my art classes with the confidence to show your work to others, put your work up on the wall, and to continue to make art at home.
And no matter what level you are, you will feel energised, inspired and ready for more!
Which class to choose?
My Painting: For Any Level classes – working from still life, making art to music, or creating textures, and my Mixed Media 6 week evening course are great for you if have made art before or have been on one of my Getting Started classes, although they are also very accessible to complete beginners – because they aren’t about producing the perfect piece of work or being .
What people have to say about my art classes…..
“I really enjoyed the class I did with Jane. It was so nice to do something that was completely creative. There was no judgement, no need to do it “right” but it was fun and absorbing. I have done other art classes where I became so worried about technique that things seemed to get worse rather than better. I’m certainly going to try to do some more things with her.” Roz Warren
